This Porsche 997 was recently brought into Elite Porsche in Belvedere for a routine service. During the initial inspection, one of our experienced technicians identified some significant issues that required immediate attention.

The water pipes were found to be heavily corroded—something that, if left unresolved, could lead to serious cooling system failures and costly engine damage. In addition to this, there was evidence of a refrigerant leak from the air conditioning system. The leak appeared to be coming from around the securing clip that holds the A/C pipes in place against the body of the car.

Both issues highlight the importance of thorough inspections during servicing, especially on performance vehicles like the 997, where even small faults can escalate quickly. The customer was promptly informed, and repairs were carried out to restore the car to top mechanical condition.
