Porsche 997 Faulty O2 Sensor Repair

This Porsche 997 came in with a faulty O2 sensor – a key component that monitors exhaust gases to help the engine run efficiently and reduce emissions.

When an O2 sensor fails, it can lead to poor fuel economy, rough running, and increased emissions. In this case, the sensor had to be replaced, but during removal, the threads were pulled and damaged.

We removed the exhaust catalytic converters, carefully repaired the threads, and reassembled the system using new flange bolts and gaskets.

Precision work like this is essential to keep performance cars running at their best – and it’s what we specialise in at Elite Porsche.
