Porsche Boxster 986 came in with a common fault where the IMS bearing breaks up causing engine failure and piston issues.

If this happens the repair can be extremely expensive and has been a fault on this model since release.

To avoid this disaster, we upgraded to double row IMS bearings which have never gone wrong since we have fitted them.
